First grade students can look forward to learning in math, reading, and science.

In Math class, students learn about number sense, addition and subtraction concepts, place value, and measurement. Students learn about phonics, writing end marks, commas, and comprehension in Reading. Science class lets students get involved when they learn about hygiene, soil, animal life cycles, and animal parts. In Social Studies, they learn about rules and laws, maps, holidays, clocks, calendars, and timelines.
