Welding Shop

Welding Shop

Learning to weld can lead to a lifetime of opportunities for students. First, students learn the most important rule of welding: protect your eyes! Of course, they also learn about the equipment and techniques needed.

Once teachers are satisfied that students have a firm grasp of the basic principles, they can move on to the exciting part: actually welding. Our welding shop features arc, mig, tig, and oxy-acetylene welders.

In 2021, the welding lab facility was upgraded with state-of-the-art equipment and materials. This includes superior ventilation for the welding units. Welding booths are separated to protect students and instructors during the learning process.
