Election Date

  • Next Election: The upcoming General Election takes place on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.

  • Voter Registration Deadline: Online registration must be submitted by October 6, 2026, and mail-in applications must be postmarked by October 5, 2026.

Who Can Vote

To vote in this referendum, an individual must:

  • Be a United States citizen and a resident of Indiana.
  • Be at least 18 years old on or before Election Day (November 3, 2026).

  • Have lived in their specific Tipton County voting precinct for at least 30 days before the election.

  • Not currently be imprisoned following conviction of a crime.

Early Voting Information

  • In-Person Early Voting: Per state law, in-person early voting always opens at least 28 days before the election at the Tipton County Courthouse (Circuit Court Clerk's office).

  • Weekend Hours: The Clerk's office is legally required to open for early voting on the two Saturdays immediately preceding the election (October 24 and October 31, 2026).
