Board Minutes

What are Board Minutes?

Board Minutes documents are posted after board meetings. The document is, essentially, an outline of what transpired at the board meeting. You can think of it like this:

Board Minutes are to board meetings what a screenplay is to a movie.

The Board Minutes document goes into great detail about what was discussed. It even offers summaries of important topics that were brought before the board, and includes which board members participated in motions. Board Minutes documents are so specific that they even include information on who led the Pledge of Allegiance!

For your perusal and convenience, we've compiled previous Board Meetings documents from 2014 and newer.

Finalized Board Packets

School board packets play an important role in helping board members make well-informed decisions that impact our schools and community. These packets are shared with board members ahead of each meeting and include key materials like the agenda, financial updates, staffing recommendations, policy changes, and other background information. Reviewing this content in advance allows board members to come prepared, ask questions, and make thoughtful decisions during meetings.

Because information in the packets may be updated right up to the start of a meeting, they aren't always ready to share with the public beforehand. However, to promote transparency and keep our community informed, TCSC will make each board packet available online—with any sensitive information removed—the week following every board meeting. You can view those packets here.
