High Ability Program Evaluation

  •  As part of our high ability program evaluation, we have organized a broad-based planning committee to meet monthly throughout the school year. The committee will conduct a comprehensive review of the services offered by our high ability program to ensure individual high ability student needs are being met. That includes a review of our identification process, our differentiated curriculum and instruction, guidance and counseling support, professional development opportunities, and our overall program evaluation process.

    The committee has spent the 2022-2023 school year reviewing and updating the multifaceted identification process for our high ability program.

    The broad-based planning committee is made up of district and building administration, high ability coordinators at each building, and parents of students from each building across our district. The parent committee members are rotated annually to provide more opinions and perspectives to ensure a wider range of our population is represented.
